Summit to meet Creamy Delight in Class B finals

Following the recent Class B semifinals of the ongoing Fil-Sino Athletic Club Asia Brewery Invitational Cup 2018 at Bacolod Tay Tung High School, Summit is set to meet Creamy Delight in the finals.
In the semifinals, Summit defeated Nestea, 81-70; while Creamy Delight beat Vitamilk, 75-54.
Nestea held a slim one-point lead at halftime; however, by the end of the third period, Summit began to pull away, ending the quarter up 54-47. They went on to carry the momentum through to the end of the game.
Jappy Cuaycong led Summit with 16 points, followed by Michael Ang and Efraim Valencia, who each added 15.
Despite the loss, Rey Pandoro finished with 21 points for Nestea.
In the other game, Creamy Delight led 47-26 at halftime.
Their lead narrowed to 53-41 by the end of the third period; however, the eventual winners managed to pull away through the remainder of the game.
Jay Taleon led the win with 16 points, followed by Carmelo Ruiz with 13 and Ramil Bulado adding 10.
Summit goes into the finals with a twice-to-beat advantage./JSG, WDJ
