A teenage girl is currently hospitalized after she allegedly tried to kill herself by drinking poison in Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental, late Monday evening.

Police refused to identify the victim, but confirmed she is 13 years old.

According to a statement provided by the victim’s cousin, they found the victim lying unconscious after drinking pesticide.

The victim was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) for treatment and is currently receiving treatment.

The victim’s family, meanwhile, has no idea why the victim would try to claim her own life./DGB, WDJ
