At least P18,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized by police from a newly-identified drug suspect during a Friday evening buy-bust operation in Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspect as 21-year-old John Carlo Fabruada, a resident of Purok Datiles, Phase 4 in the said barangay.

Police Station 10 (PS10) commander, Police Chief Inspector Charles Gever, said they recovered six small sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of one gram.

Fabruada is presently detained at PS10 and faces illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
