A motorcycle driver was killed while his passenger was severely injured after they crashed into a parked trailer along the Bacolod-Murcia-San Carlos Highway, part of Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, yesterday morning.

Police have yet to identify both victims.

Based on eyewitness accounts, the motorcycle was heading towards the barangay proper section of Mansilingan, when the vehicle accidentally crashed into the parked trailer.

Both victims were rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) for treatment; however, the driver was later declared dead on arrival by hospital staff.

Police, meanwhile, are presently trying to identify the owner of the parked trailer./DGB, WDJ
