At least P72,000 worth of suspected shabu were seized following a Thursday afternoon buy-bust operation in Barangay 4, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the suspect as 39-year-old Jude Tejada, a Level 2 high-value drug target and resident of the town’s Barangay 3.

Anti-drug operatives recovered two big sachets of suspected shabu from Tejada, along with the P800 marked money and one mobile phone.

The weight of the seized illicit substance was estimated at six grams.

Tejada is detained at the Hinigaran Municipal Police Station and faces illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
