The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) recently provided assistance to the family of slain overseas Filipino worker (OFW) Joanna Daniela Demafelis, whose remains were found inside a freezer while working in Kuwait.
TESDA Director-General Guiling Mamondiong said the agency provided a training scholarship assistance package, which includes free skills training, free competency assessment, free entrepreneurship training, training support fund, and starter tool kits.
Demafelis’ relatives have since enrolled in various programs, including housekeeping, cookery, and automotive servicing./WDJ
