Manila Southwoods seals four-peat

Manila Southwoods secured a four-peat victory of the PAL Interclub Regular Men’s Championship yesterday at the Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club in Bacolod City. The team finished 41 points ahead of their closest rival, the Luisita Golf Club.

“This only goes to show that our grassroots program continues to work,” said non-playing Southwoods skipper Thirdy Escano. “We have young, brilliant players still waiting for their chance to shine [and] Southwoods is committed to giving these players the break they need.”/JSG, WDJ
