The Negros Occidental Provincial Social Welfare Development Office held their first Daycare Workers Day last week at the Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center (NOMPAC).

A total 1,716 participated in the event, which included a ceremonial memorandum of agreement signing between the Visayan Forum Foundation, Inc. and the Zonta Club of Bacolod in support of the iFight campaign against human trafficking and modern-day slavery.

The provincial government also released P4.2 million in a salary subsidy for daycare workers./WDJ
