“…Is anyone of you sick? He should call the elders of his church and pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord… and the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well…” –James 5:14-15

This is personal testimony from Raoul Gonzales Estrada, chief deacon of the Simbahang Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo (KNK), or the Children of God Blood Kin of the Christ Church, in Tarlac. He discusses how he obtained immediate relief from having immobile bowels, apparently due to a serious prostate illness, from what is being called “miracle water” from Tarlac City.

Estrada said he was constipated over the course of 10 days. The other day, he was rushed to a big government hospital in Tarlac City. His wife, Fina, called me and asked if could help find a doctor to provide a second opinion; the hospital was recommending he undergo immediate operation.

Instead of referring them to another physician, I asked them to call my brother, Atty. Leny L. Mauricio, whose personal experience with the “miracle water” convinced both him and his wife, Irene, of its efficacy, especially after it healed a Court of Appeals justice of stage 4 prostate cancer.

Mauricio instructed Estrada to buy the “miracle water” and drink it right away.

After purchasing a gallon of the stuff, within 30 minutes of drinking two glasses, Estrada was in the toilet emptying everything lodged in his intestines over the last 10 days.

The deacon told me he felt tremendously better and when they called me the morning after purchasing the “miracle water,” both he and his wife were profuse in their expressions of gratitude. Who wouldn’t feel thankful, not only from being able to have a bowel movement after 10 days and being relieved of stomach pain, but also avoiding an operation.

I visited them that afternoon and was surprised to see Estrada walking around the hospital. The color in his face and skin looked good and he said he was already asking to be discharged.

Indeed, they have a lot to thank God for.

Lesson for those who are ill: God is the true doctor

This column is not to increase the sale of Tarlac City “miracle water,” but to make other of such a substance; one that could combat illness, no matter how serious.

My joy was complete because, in the midst of jubilation among family members, they did not forget the true source of restored health is Jesus – whom they accept as God and Savior; and as God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Before leaving the hospital, we prayed and said his healing was according to the gracious will of God.

If a person has accepted Jesus and has faith, they will be guided on what to do, what to drink, and what to eat in order to be healed. As the Bible says, the first line of medical help for those afflicted with ailments, no matter how serious they may appear to be, are the prayers of believers.

I hope and pray those who read this column will have learned the power of the Word of God, which is the Bible!
