Manila Southwoods leads by 23 points

Following the second day of the PAL Interclub Regular Men’s Championship at the Bacolod Golf and Country Club in Murcia, defending champions Manila Southwoods took a 23-point lead over the Luisita Golf Club.
Kristoffer Arevalo led the team, finishing two under par, earning 38 points; Carl Corpus followed with 35 points, while Tom Kim and Aidric Chan each contributed 33 points.
Despite the lead, non-playing Southwoods skipper Thirdy Escano remained cautious on predicting the team’s performance.
“There’s a lot of talent out there and [other teams] can easily catch up,” he said.
Meanwhile, Guinhalaran-Silay took a slim one-point lead following the opening of the sportswriters division. The team is currently at 89 points, with Mactan Island in second at 88 points.
In the aviator division, Negros Occidental leads with 105 points, three points in front of second place Sherwood Hills./JSG, WDJ
