At least P12,000 worth of suspected shabu was recently confiscated by police following a buy-bust operation at Purok Kabugwason in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspect as 44-year-old Manuel Tambanillo, a resident of Block 4, Lot 23 in the said neighborhood.

Records released by Police Station 7 (PS7) stated Tambanillo was nabbed after handing one small sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop in exchange for P500.

Police also recovered five disposable lighters and one bladed weapon with a length of 15 inches from tip to handle.

Tambanillo is detained at PS7 on drug-related charges./DGB, WDJ
