Muñoz rejoins Ceres FC ahead of Shan United match

Ceres-Negros FC defender Junior Muñoz is set to rejoin the club ahead of their upcoming 2018 AFC Cup match against Myanmar National League champions Shan United FC at the Thuwunna Stadium in Myanmar next week, March 14, following an ankle injury he picked up in their previous AFC Cup match against Singapore’s Home United FC last month.

“I’m glad to be back with the team,” he said.

Ceres defeated Shan United, 2-0, last Tuesday at the Panaad Park and Stadium, giving the Negrense club an outright lead in Group F.

Ahead of their upcoming match, Ceres coach Risto Vidaković said, “With this kind of defensive team, we have to move the ball faster.”
