City Councilor: It will be as big as MassKara

According to Bacolod City Councilor Em Ang, who chairs the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) committee on tourism, the city is preparing to host the Manokan Country Inasal Festival in May.

She noted, a public hearing still needs to be held to amend provisions to the 2009 city ordinance first recommending the observance.

The planned site for the festival is between Rizal-Ferrero Streets and Burgos-Ferrero Streets, including the entire Manokan Country complex, located just outside SM City Bacolod.

Ang believes the event will become as big as the annual MassKara Festival which is held in October./PLL, WDJ
