Around P100,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized following a buy-bust operation over the weekend at a mall parking lot in Barangay 9, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspect as 37-year-old Glenn Descutido, a resident of Purok Mahigugmaon in Barangay 22 of the said city.

Police Station 2 (PS2) commander, Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, Jr., said the buy-bust was conducted after receiving reports claiming illegal drugs were being transacted in the said parking lot.

A total of five big and one elongated sachets of suspected shabu were seized in the operation as well as drug paraphernalia and the P500 marked money.

Descutido is presently detained at PS2 and faces illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
