Ceres FC season opener rescheduled

Ceres-Negros FC was originally scheduled to open their 2018 Philippines Football League season against Stallion Laguna FC on Saturday, March 3, at the Panaad Park and Stadium; however, plans have since changed with the local organizing committee recently citing “unavoidable circumstances” in rescheduling the match for a later date.

With the adjusted schedule, the defending PFL champions are urging their fans to support their ongoing AFC Cup campaign, where they next face Myanmar’s Shan United FC on Tuesday, March 6, at the Panaad.

Ceres beat the Burmese club in the Champions League qualifying play-offs last month./JSG, WDJ
