Following a meeting yesterday with Bacolod City Councilor Dindo Ramos and tournament commissioner Israel Salanga, along with around 40 barangay officials, it was revealed the second Congressman Greg Gasataya Basketball Cup will begin in April at the STI-West Negros University gym.

The competition will be divided into 17-under and open divisions, with registration deadline on March 9. However, official line-up forms are due to the office of the congressman on March 2.

Players competing in the 17-under division must show a birth certificate to provide proof of age and a certification affirming their residency in their respective barangay. For the open division, players must provide their voter’s ID to show they are a registered Bacolod City voter.

All teams will receive free uniforms and P5,000 in financial assistance./JSG, WDJ
