Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III led the distribution of clubs, or batuta, to 1,730 barangay tanods last week.

“You are one of the reasons why Iloilo City is considered as the most peaceful in the whole of Region 6,” he said to the gathered community officials.

The mayor emphasized the importance of good gear to serve as “as peace and order officers.”/WDJ
