Hanah Taekwondo earns four golds, four silvers

Athletes of the Hanah Taekwondo gym earned a total four gold and four silver medals at the 2018 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) meet in Iloilo City.

Earning gold in the kyorugi, or sparring, events included Mary Angeline Alcantara in the bantamweight division, Kaizzer Mohametano in the lightweight division, Dail Ramyel Pano in the finweight division, and Luigi Escasinas in the Grade School (144-152 cm) division.

Meanwhile, Caroline Dean Espinosa won silver in the kyorugi open weight category and Christian Dean Espinosa earned silver in the individual poomsae competition, which is comprised of the basic attack and defense motions associated with the martial art.

Espinosa picked up a second silver, alongside Creoz Agassi Celiz, in the team poomsae event./JSG, WDJ
