The 2018 Bacolaodiat Invitational Table Tennis Championship, which took place earlier this month as part of the annual Bacolaodiat Festival, saw over 150 compete in various categories.
Among the winners included Geuf Veloso in the 10-and-under boys (beginners), Jona Gonzales in the 10-and-under girls (beginners), Joaquin Bragancia in the 10-and-under boys, Ricci Crisdel Sausa defended her 10-and-under girls title, Roan Vasquez defended his 13-and-under boys title, Kylie Sophia Villanueva defended her 13-and-under girls title, Cherry Tiongco won the women’s open, John Michael Castro won the men’s open, Robert Arteche took the men’s executive category, and Ben Alo won the veterans category.
Amid the competitors, guest players from Tacloban City and the provinces of Iloilo and Antique also participated.
