Following his visit to Iloilo, President Rodrigo Duterte made a surprise stop in Negros Occidental last Thursday, where he dined with the Yanson family, owners of Vallacar Transit, Inc., the parent company of Ceres Bus Liner.
The president’s helicopter reportedly touched down at Bacolod-Silay Airport at 7:00 p.m., where he was then transported to the home of Emily Yanson, located in Talisay City.
Duterte reportedly left at 12:00 midnight and flew via private jet to Davao City.
Negros Occidental Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson was reportedly present at the dinner.
During his visit to Iloilo, the president attended the wake for slain overseas Filipino worker Joanna Daniela Demafelis and visited troops at Camp Gen. Adriano Hernandez in Dingle./DGB, WDJ
