Tubing race held over the weekend

As part of the first Tibiao River Festival, the municipality of Tibiao, in Antique, hosted the National Extreme River Tubing Race last Sunday.

Tibiao Mayor Gil Bandoja, Sebaste Vice Mayor Gaseva Villanueva Recopuerto, among other local officials, led the event, which comprised of a 2.3 kilometer course that participants rode down on inner tube, or salbabida.

Among those in attendance included Makati City first district Rep. Monsour Del Rosario and National Youth Commission head Nilo Badilla./WDJ
