Silay City, La Carlota City teams notch wins

Teams from Silay City and La Carlota City recently notched wins in the ongoing Negros Occidental Volleyball Association- Negros Occidental Cultural and Sports Foundation (NOVA-NOCSF) Age-Group Volleyball Championships at the Silay City Public Plaza Covered Court.
In the 16U division, La Carlota City beat Bago City in the boys division, 25-22, 25-23; while Silay City beat Negros Occidental High School (NOHS) in the girls division, 25-9, 25-9.
In the 12U division, La Carlota City also beat Sipalay City in the girls division, 25-11, 25-19; however, the result was reversed in the boys division, with Sipalay City beating La Carlota City, 25-16, 25-19.
Meanwhile, Silay City also beat Sipalay City in the 14U division, 25-20, 20-25, 25-10.
In other results, Talisay City beat Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod (CSA-B) in the 14U girls division, 25-14, 25-13; while Pontevedra beat the Trinity Christian School (TCS), 25-15, 25-21, in the same division.
A total 88 teams are competing in a variety of divisions.
Competing in the 10U category are St. John’s Institute-A (SJI-A), B, C, D; St. Carmen Salles School (SCSS) A and B; South Hills Academy; the University of St. La Salle (USLS); Living Stone International School (LSIS); Silay City; and Pontevedra.
Competing in the 12U category are SCSS, USLS, TCS, LSIS, the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R), SJI, Daisy’s ABC School, Saint Benilde School, Inc. (SBS), Cadiz West Elementary School (CWES), Silay City, La Carlota City, Sipalay City, and Pontevedra.
Competing in the 14U category are Colegio de Santo Tomas-Recoletos (CST-R), USLS, Saint Joseph School–La Salle (SJS-LS), St. Teresita’s Academy (STA) A and B, CWES, La Consolacion College-Bacolod (LCC), TCS, CSA-B, UNO-R, SJI A and B, Pontevedra, Talisay City, and Sipalay City.
Competing in the 16U category are CSA-B, SJS-LS, USLS, STA, Colegio De Sta. Ana De Victorias Integrated School, Don Bosco Technical Institute, LCC A and B, LSIS, CST-R, UNO-R, Bacolod Tay Tung High School, SJI, SBS, Negros Occidental High School (NOHS), St. Scholastica’s Academy, the FMT Volleyball Club, Bago City, Silay City, and La Carlota City.
Competing in the 30 and above category are Volleylife, Talisay City, Rams, 888 Chicken Deli, Silay City, Hawaiian, Selekta, Volleyreenas, and NOHS./JSG, WDJ
