DMLMHS qualifies for regional competition

Silay City’s Doña Montserrat Lopez Memorial High School (DMLMHS) recently defeated Vito National High School (VNHS) of Sagay City in Game 3 of their 2018 National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) Silay leg best-of-three finals series, earning qualification for the 2018 NBTC Regional Finals in San Carlos City, scheduled to take place from March 3 to 4.

After DMLMHS took Game 1, 86-83, VNHS evened the series by winning Game 2, 78-64. In the decider, DMLMHS won by a narrow 67-63 margin at the Natalio G. Velez gym in Silay City.

DMLMHS will meet Bacolod Leg champions Bacolod Tay Tung High School in the regionals, along with two other teams./JSG, WDJ
