Negros Occidental contingent leaves for Iloilo today

The over 700 members of the Negros Occidental contingent are scheduled to leave today, February 15, to compete in the 2018 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) meet, set to take place at the Iloilo Sports Complex from February 18 to 23.

According to Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Negros Occidental Sports Coordinator Romeo Sison, the province’s athletes will be competing in 15 elementary level events and 22 secondary level events.

The Negros Occidental provincial government allocated P12 million for the delegation./JSG, WDJ
