Regional BIR Official: Antique is an economically-growing province

After the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Revenue District Office-73 (RDO-73), based in San Jose de Buenavista, Antique, reported an 18.77 percent increase in revenue collection last year, approximately P114 million, Antique Revenue District Officer Eralen B. De Aro said the data paints an optimistic image of the province.

“Antique is now an economically growing province,” she said.

After the province collected P700 million in 2017, De Aro said they have set a goal of P833 million this year.

“As of January this year, P81 million was already collected,” she pointed out, calling it a “positive start.”

Meanwhile, the local RDO recently launched a new logo and 2018 theme, which is “Salamat Sa’yo,” signifying every cent means a lot for the department./PLL, WDJ
