A Barangay Villamonte employee and two others were arrested last night by Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) operatives following a buy-bust operation at the Greensville 2 Subdivision in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.
Police identified the subject of the operation as 37-year-old Rodel Parcon, a barangay garbage collector and resident of Purok Dahlia Extension in the said community.
Also arrested were Joseph Tan and Chito Garrido, also residents of the said barangay.
BCPO director, Police Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, said Parcon is on the CDEU’s drugs watchlist and is considered as a high-value target by police.
He said operatives recovered 15 big and seven medium sachets of suspected shabu, weighing a combined 75 grams, and valued at P1.2 million.
