Five Negrense students headed to Jr. NBA National Training Camp

A total 10 students from the Visayas were recently selected to participate in the Jr. NBA Regional National Training Camp, scheduled to take place in Manila from May 18 to 20. Among the group, five are from Negros Occidental, with one from Iloilo.
The Negrense selections include Nathan Jan Jundana and Heinzy Gabriel Demisana of Bacolod Tay Tung High School, Dancylle Gabrealene Busime of Colegio San Nicolas de Tolentino-Recoletos, Danielle Gwen Dusaran of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, and Gin Kayla Relliquette of the St. Carmen Salles School.
Meanwhile, John Lester Amagan of Iloilo City’s St. Robert’s International Academy was also among the selections.
“We have kids in Visayas that showed a tremendous amount of potential at a very young age,” said Jr. NBA Coach Barroca. “We hope they will continue to work on their games and [we] look forward to seeing their growth in our future camps.”
The other Visayan selections were from the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu./JSG, WDJ
