A tricycle driver was robbed early yesterday morning at the Celine Subdivision in Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City.

Police identified the victim as 35-year-old Joemar Salazar, a resident of Purok Sabis, Barangay Villamonte in the said city.

According to the victim, two unidentified suspects boarded his vehicle inside the subdivision. However, they later revealed a bladed weapon and a .38 caliber firearm and declared a hold-up.

Salazar was forced to give up his earnings from that morning, which amounted to P200, before fleeing the area.

The victim said he is positive he could identify the suspects if he gets the chance to see them again, describing one of them as having “a thin body.”/DGB, WDJ
