The Iloilo City Population Office is currently accepting nominations for the Outstanding Women of Iloilo City 2018, a designation that recognizes the role of women in society.

Nominees must be of legal age and a member or officer of an organization, or a person who has made significant accomplishments in a particular field, that has contributed to the welfare of women in Iloilo City.

Recipients will be recognized in a variety of categories, namely: judicial; differently-abled persons; protective; religious; professional; academe; volunteerism and community; culture and arts; math, science, and technology; business; non-government organization or civic organization; media; government; philanthropic works; and sports.

Deadline for submissions is February 20, with awarding ceremony scheduled for March 23 at the SM City Iloilo activity center./WDJ
