Antique Governor leads groundbreaking for concreting project

Antique Governor Rhodora Cadiao recently led the groundbreaking for a concreting project in Sibalom for a 1.2 kilometer road that runs between Barangays Odiong and Catungan IV.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) concreting project comes at a cost of over P12.6 million, with a P4 million counterpart fund coming from the province.

“It will greatly benefit the residents, especially the farmers and students of our barangay,” said Barangay Catungan IV Captain Zenobia Margallo.

Meanwhile, Cadiao said there are plans to install solar lamps along the road.

Also present at the event were Antique Vice Governor Edgar Denosta, Engr. Inocencio Dajao of the Provincial Engineer’s Office, Barangay Odiong Captain Glory Vista, among others./WDJ
