Ceres FC arrives home today

By Jerome S. Galunan, Jr.

Ceres-Negros FC is back in Bacolod City today following their exit from the 2018 AFC Champions League playoffs last month, where they lost 2-0 to Chinese Super League club Tianjin Quanjian FC, and ahead of their 2018 AFC Cup match against Cambodian League champions Boeung Ket Angkor FC next week, February 13, at the Panaad Park and Stadium.

“We are excited,” said club manager James Dinsay. “We learned and gained so much experience from those [Champions League] games.”

Looking ahead to their AFC Cup match, the club official said they have had more opportunities to prepare for the match.

“We’ve had more time to prepare and get in shape,” Dinsay noted. “We can’t wait to show everyone how much we’ve improved.”

Meanwhile, complimentary tickets for the match are available at the Ceres FC office, located at the Ceres North field in Talisay City./JSG, WDJ
