Police in Pamplona, Negros Oriental arrested the most wanted person in town earlier this week through a joint operation by the Negros Oriental Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), along with police officers from Pamplona and Amlan.

46-year-old Rolando Intero, a resident of Sitio Pinanlayaan in the town’s Barangay Datagon, was served an arrest warrant, issued last year by Judge Winston M. Villegas through Regional Trial Court-Branch 43, in violation of RA 10591, or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition.

The suspect is being tried for criminal cases 2275 and 2276 and is being held on P80,000 and P120,000 bail, respectively./PLL, WDJ
