The Bacolod City Health Office (CHO) yesterday reported 61 dengue cases for the month of January, a decline from the 114 recorded during the same period last year.
Barangay Sum-ag was recorded having the most number of cases with eight, followed by Barangay Singcang Airport with seven.
CHO Environment Sanitation Division head, Dr. Grace Tan, said the drop in the number of dengue cases was the result of their continuous advocacy in increasing dengue awareness to the community.
Tan added, there are no reports of Dengvaxia victims in the city./NC, WDJ
