Russian Ambassador: A unique opportunity to experience a rich culture and tradition

After attending the annual Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo City, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, Russian Ambassador to the Philippines Igor A. Khovaev offered his appreciation for, what he called, an “enjoyable and pleasurable” trip.

“It was a unique opportunity to experience a rich culture and tradition,” he said. “The fond memories of my stay will definitely make me want to come back.”

The envoy also met with Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III for a courtesy call and luncheon at the City Hall.
