The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) recently reiterated their appeal to the Diocese of Bacolod to join them in convincing drug personalities to surrender through “Oplan: Tokhang Reboot.”

BCPO director, Police Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, said leaders from every religious denomination in the city are welcome to join them in the campaign.

However, Ebreo pointed out the recent “Oplan: Tokhang Reboot” currently practiced in Metro Manila includes priests and Islamic clerics as part of the visitation process on drug personalities, which he called “a very different situation compared to Bacolod City.”

Ebreo said he is urging Bishop Patricio Buzon to let parish priests join them in convincing drug suspects as a way of removing negative views on the operation and to improve coordination with the religious community./DGB, WDJ
