Preliminary quarterfinals in Bago City next month

The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) will be hosting a competition for aspiring boxers, with the PSC-Pacquiao Amateur Boxing Cup preliminary rounds scheduled for next month throughout the Visayas.
The competition will open in Ormoc City, Leyte from February 3 to 4, with those advancing to the quarterfinals competing in Bago City, Negros Occidental from February 17 to 18.
Fighters who advance to the semifinals will compete on March 10 in Antique, a specific location has yet to be named; and the regional championships scheduled for March 31 in Maasin City, Leyte.
The competition will be divided into junior and youth boys and girls divisions.
The junior division includes pinweight, light flyweight, flyweight, light bantamweight, and bantamweight classes; while the youth category includes light flyweight, flyweight, bantamweight, lightweight, and light welterweight classes.
