Governor leads groundbreaking for P153M feeder port in Sagay City

Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr., alongside his son, Sagay City Mayor Alfredo Marañon III; Philippine Rural Development Project-Project Support Office (PRDP-PSO) Visayas Cluster Director Remelyn Recoter; among others, yesterday led the groundbreaking on a P153 million feeder port/fish landing in Barangay Old Sagay in Sagay City.
The project, which is scheduled to be completed by April 18, 2019, is expected to benefit more than 12,000 fisherfolk.
Also present at the event were Regional Project Coordination Office-6 Deputy Project Director Manuel Olanday, PRDP Deputy Director Albert Barrogo, among other officials./WDJ
