NOPPO commends San Carlos City police after P6.8M shabu haul

Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) director, Police Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Castil, Jr., recently revealed recommendations to award officers of the San Carlos City Police Station following a P6.8 million shabu haul last Tuesday were forwarded to Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6).
He added, the haul was also included in the accomplishment report sent to Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa.
A total 593.532 grams of shabu were seized in the raid, which was accomplished in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region VI (PDEA-6).
Charges of possession and sale of illegal drugs were filed against 29-year-old Christian Unabia.
In response to the said raid, Castil said monitoring of illegal drugs in San Carlos City has been stepped up, characterizing the city as an “entry point.”/DGB, WDJ
