ICPO commended ahead of Dinagyang deployment

Prior to their deployment for this weekend’s Dinagyang Festival highlights, several Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) officers were given awards at the City Hall last Thursday.

“This Dinagyang, let’s serve the people of Iloilo,” said Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) director, Police Chief Superintendent Cesar Hawthorne Binag. “I commend the hardworking police of this city.”

Among the recipients of the Medalya ng Kagalingan PNP Medal of Merit included ICPO director, Police Senior Superintendent Henry Biñas; Police Superintendent Julius Balano; Police Chief Inspector Juvy Navales; Police Officer 3 (PO3) Alberto Sardua, Jr.; PO2s Ruel Honggo, Philip Marlou Espejo, John Marcel San Pedro, Cyril Maestre, and Bernard Jocsing; and PO1s Idelfonso dela Cruz, Jr. and Jordan Jamolo.

Meanwhile, recipients of the Medalya ng Kasanayan included Police Senior Inspectors Shella Mae Sangrines and Mary Grace Socorro Borio; Senior Police Officers 3 (SPO3) Debbie Yocogco and Maricel Guevarra; SPO2 Emily Arostique; PO3 Mericar Galido; PO2s Anamae Calawigan, Amy Gerline Acevedo, and Mishele Lapating; and PO1s Marivic Cejalvo and Fritzie Dionesio.

Also present were Philippine Army 301st Infantry Brigade commander, Colonel Pio Diñoso; and City Administrator Hernando Galvez, who represented Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III./WDJ
