Demi Patria ‘Mimi’ Jainga, a psychology student at Central Philippine University (CPU), was crowned 2018 Miss Iloilo Dinagyang over the weekend at the University of San Agustin gym.

“It is not just of Miss Iloilo Dinagyang, but of Iloilo City,” she said of the title during the question and answer segment. “Being Miss Iloilo Dinagyang is to be an advocate of Ilonggos so that they’d be aware of our rich culture and heritage.”

Kristine Cassandra Cambronero was named first runner-up, while Patricia Mae Delos Reyes won second runner-up.

Meanwhile, other winners included Maria Lizada being crowned Miss Iloilo Dinagyang Iloilo City and Ruffa Nava being named Miss Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation, Inc./WDJ
