A six-year-old was rushed to a Bacolod City hospital late Tuesday afternoon after suffering from burns at Purok 4 in Kabankalan City.

Police refused to reveal the identity of the said minor.

Based on a statement provided by the victim’s aunt to police, she said they failed to notice the minor entering their warehouse, who reportedly grabbed a box of matches and began playing with it, resulting in the victim incurring burns to their face and different parts of the body./DGB, WDJ
