Bacolod City Executive Assistant Celestino Guara yesterday said a complaint filed against a suspected fixer working with the processing and renewal of business permits was withdrawn.
Rosa Maria Torres, the complainant, withdrew her claim against job order employee Ladelle Montaño in a letter addressed to Anti-Red Tape Act Core Team member Samuel Montoyo.
In her initial complaint, submitted on January 10, Torres claimed Montaño failed to process her permit after allegedly paying the city employee P3,000. However, the complainant has since admitted to “begging” Montaño to process the permit and affirmed she was out of the country and unable to complete the process./NC, WDJ
