BTTHS captures title

Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) won the 7th Judge Restituto V. Tuanda, Jr. Memorial Volleyball Cup title last week in Jimalalud, Negros Oriental, defeating Sailors in the finals: 25-21, 25-22, 25-23.

“More than winning, the team really aims to gain more experience and determine what [it] is still lacking,” said BTTHS Vice President for Sports Jose Montalbo.

The team is next scheduled to participate in the 2018 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) meet, set to take place in Iloilo from February 18 to 22.

Meanwhile, the BTTHS basketball team will be competing in the high school division of the Dinagyang Mayor’s Cup Battle of Champions, scheduled to take place at the Hua Siong College of Iloilo gym, from January 12 to 14./JSG, WDJ
