The Iloilo City Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) will be accepting business permit renewal applications every day, including weekends, until January 20.
The office will be open on the weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and, on the weekends, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“We encourage businessmen to renew your business permits as soon as possible to avoid hassle,” said BPLO chief Norman Tabud.
A one-stop shop has also been set up at the City Treasurer’s Office (CTO), in order for applicants to complete the three-step process of submitting a declaration of gross receipts with the CTO examiner’s desk; claiming tax order or payments at the Examination and Inspection Division; and paying business taxes, community taxes, along with certificate fees, fees for the Bureau of Fire and Protection, among other payments.
Business permits submitted after January 20 will be assessed a 25 percent surcharge./WDJ
