DOST-FNRI also discussed how to keep cooking utensils sanitary.

“Have separate towels for drying hands; plates, spoons, and forks; and wiping table tops,” the FNRI said in a statement. “Have them washed with soap and water, rinsed, and sundried regularly.”

According to the agency, food should not be left out in room temperature for a long time, along with making sure hot foods are served hot and cold foods cold.

DOST-FNRI also suggested to keep chemicals, insecticides, and detergents away from food supplies as they can be poisonous./WDJ
