198 participate in competition at SM City Bacolod

The Governor’s Cup Invitational Table Tennis Championship took place last week at the SM City Bacolod main atrium, where 198 competitors took part in several categories.

Roan Vasquez won the 13-and-under boys’ competition, Kylie Sophia Villanueva won the 13-and-under girls’ competition, John Paul Gubaton won the men’s open, and Rosejean Fadol won the women’s open.

In the executive categories, Peter Lim took the men’s competition, Maricris Catalan took the women’s A division, and Corazon Boyero won the women’s B division.

Meanwhile, Robert Arteche won the veterans’ (60 years old above) division.

The competition was put on by the Negros Occidental provincial government, in partnership with the Lopue’s Table Tennis Association (LOPTTA)./PLL, WDJ
