Palafox: The city can compete with the rest of the world
By Dominique Gabriel G. Bañaga
Urban planner, Arch. Felino Palafox, Jr., who was in Bacolod City recently, said he sees “very high urban development potential” in the city, speculating the locality may undergo a “renaissance” through “re-thinking, re-imagining, re-planning, re-architecture,” along with “remove, reduce, and recycle, re-develop.”
He also said Bacolod City can compete with the rest of the world.
Palafox noted, if the public were to look back to the 1950s, they would see Bacolod City was among the top local government units in the country.
“Bacolod was out there before, you know, what happened in Negros,” he said./DGB, WDJ
