BTTHS competing in Jimalalud competition

After their victory at the 2017 Palarong Panlalawigan earlier this month, representing the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association (NOPSSCEA), followed by a runner-up finish at the Mayor Tinto Bascon Christmas Volleyball League 2017 in Himamaylan City, Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) is currently taking part in the ongoing 7th Judge Retituto V. Tuanda, Jr. Memorial Volleyball Cup in Jimalalud, Negros Oriental.
BTTHS was drawn into Bracket B, alongside Sailors, Timagray, and Canlaon City. Meanwhile, Tanjay City, Smash, Grey Wolves, and Silliman University are competing in Bracket A.
BTTHS Vice President for Sports Jose Montalbo called the competition an opportunity to “build up” for the upcoming 2018 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) meet, tentatively scheduled for February 2018.
