During a recent briefing before Philippine Information Agency (PIA) officials, Iloilo Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Manager Eleanor Gregorio urged members to maintain their records and ensure they are updated.

She said, if records are maintained well, it will avoid any difficult processes once one retires.

Gregorio noted, members can update items using their Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID), which can also be used when conducting transactions with their office.

UMID provides for both easy identification and convenience, along with offering security when retrieving personal information./WDJ
