A driver was killed, while two others were injured, in a motorcycle collision at Purok Exodus in Barangay Crossing Magallon, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental on Thursday evening.

The fatality was identified as 47-year-old Lemuel Estacion of Barangay Inolingan in the said municipality; while the injured were identified as 31-year-old Joehary Bulandrina of Barangay Quintin Remo in the said town and 25-year-old Ryan Libawas of Barangay Robles in La Castellana.

According to an initial investigation by the Moises Padilla Municipal Police Station, the motorcycle driven by Libawas tried to evade a hollow portion of the road when he bumped into another motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction.

Estacion, who was driving the other motorcycle, was declared dead on arrival, while his backrider, Bulandrina, sustained physical injuries.

Libawas was also rushed to the hospital for medical treatment./NC, WDJ
